MechQuest is one game split into two formats: Free Adventurers and Paid Star Captains.

Free Adventurers
MechQuest allows free players to play at all times, but limits some of the items and areas that free players can visit.

Star Captains
Star Captain characters get full access to all towns, areas and quests. It is a one time payment to buy a Star Captain upgrade, not a monthly fee. You can visit the Become a Star Captain page for full information.

• For $19.95 USD a single character can be upgraded to Star Captain status.
• For $29.,95 USD all 6 character slots on an account can be upgraded to Star Captain Status.
  

For either of the above, if you add $5.00 USD at the time of the purchase, you get an extra 2,000 Nova Gems to the characters receiving the upgrade. This $5.00 purchase is only available at this time.

Rest Of Account Upgrades
Because so many people make the initial purchase for 1 character and then decide that they want to upgrade the rest of their account, we now offer that.

• For $19.95 USD if you already have purchased a single Star Captain upgrade, you can upgrade the rest of the characters on your account.

For this Rest of Account Upgrade you can add on $5.00 USD at the time of this purchase to receive an extra 2,000 Nova Gems to the characters receiving the upgrade. This $5.00 offer is only available at this time.

Nova Gems
Nova Gems are very rare gems that you can use to acquire special powerful items in MechQuest. Nova Gems are available for purchase by all players.

• For $9.95 USD you can purchase 2,000 Nova Gems for a single character.
• For $19.95 USD you can purchase 5,000 Nova Gems for a single character.
