Greetings! It's been a while since I've been able to get a few messages out through the DN's, but that's because I've been busy! How busy have I been? Well you could say I've been surrounded by...Chaos! <.< >.> My jokes don't get any better. Sorry.
First up we have tonight's release. I found a nice mecha to Chaorrupt, just like the energy blades, to continue the AQW crossover for the Chaos Lord event that's going on. The Katana mech has been chaorrupted and now has all new specials! I even broke out my handy dandy animation pants and made full on animations for the head and body attacks since it didn't have any before! (I'm not great at it like the real artists...but I made things that go *WHOOSH* and fade all over the place)
This is a mech that's focused on Buffing you and Nerfing your opponent. It really shows in the BD attack but the Arms and Shoulders really match up well to push the nerfs home.
FA/BA CD = 3 Random damage boost between 10-20% Stacking Boost nerf. Each use lowers enemy Bonus by ( -8 / -9 / -10 ) and caps at -35
FS/BS CD = 3 Random damage boost between 10-25% Stacking Bonus nerf. Each use lowers enemy Bonus by ( -8 / -9 / -10 ) and caps at -30
Head CD = 4 +20/25/30% Bonus for 3 turns +25/30/35% Boost for 3 turns. Attempts to stun for 1 turn.
Body CD = 4
Hit 1: 50% damage Randomly picks 1 of the following to buff you.
Hit 2: 50% damage Randomly picks 1 of the following to affect the enemy.
Attempts a 2 turn stun at enemy current ImmoRes ( -30 / -35 / -40 ) Boost nerf for 2 turns ( -35 / -40 / -35 ) Bonus nerf for 2 turns ( -80 / -90 / -100 ) ImmoRes nerf for 2 turns ( -15 / -20 / -25 ) Bonus nerf for 2 turns

I've been quiet because I've been working on a LOT of stuff behind the scenes. I'm learning more and more about quest building so that we can keep going with story lines like Liath, the Gears Games, and the ALL NEW, TOTALLY TOP SECRET story line that will show what's happening after the events of "The End", and where you as the hero of the game will go. (Was I supposed to talk about it yet? Uh oh...)
I'm also talking with Blues and Vivi about a few things. We're working hard to bring you some really cool new functionality that will change an entire part of the game. We're also looking into the stat's that need a bit of an adjustment, like Efficiency.
On TOP of that, all of the staff are working on all kinds of new features for the game. I can't go to far into it but they are incredible!
You'll be seeing all sorts of new content and features and just plain cool stuff coming out. I hope you all are looking forward to it because we are. And it'll be AWESOME!

Plans, Plans, and More Plans! The MQ team is positively feverish with plans in various stages of completion. Vivi and Lyris are working on the functionality of a super-secret project that we have all been planning out. Besides ironing out the wrinkles on some existing unfinished missions and bringing you updates weekly, we're also putting together some all-new storyline and areas. Looking at wishlists and prioritizing before we actually make a firm timeline. Ash would like to note:

This weekend only - ALL NEW 4th of July "Haliaeetus" mecha model.
The Haliaeetus mecha has all NEW art by Minar and specials designed by Blues, and Vivi! It's in Soluna Main in the Holiday Shop on the sidebar. It'll only be here this weekend though! The art will probably return in the future, but specials won't come back in later years.
What's a "Haliaeetus?" Well, it's one of the most-recognizable eagle species. It ties in to the United States of America Fourth of July celebrations. And to think, I never would have known this if we hadn't already made an Eagle mecha model in the past! I love finding new and obscure bits of knowledge when researching - a friend of mine calls this "Research Rapture." Have you ever experienced research rapture, where you are led further and further off track from the original line of inquiry? This particular research line didn't veer at all. YET. But I digress...
Here are the specials:

- enemy BtH reduce 15%
- enemy defense reduce: 50
- enemy immores reduce 100
- SC only: + 75 BTH til end of fight

Greetings! This week we have a somewhat larger release, at least it feels that way to me. Hah!
Last week I was talking to Mae about what we could do to give you all something larger than normal. I came up with the idea to do something for our players who have done everything in the storyline already and wanted something extra. This turned into something larger than I had planned and it pushed me farther than I've gone in a while.
Tonight we have an addition to Planet 51. It's a series of fights that you can access after you've beaten the current 51, finished Yokai, AND finished Necryptos. Once you've done all that you can use the button that shows up on Korin's list.
This has several fights, most chosen by players when I asked, as well as one final fight that I came up with myself. It will take a little thought and strategy to beat a couple of them, but if you can it'll be worth it.
I also did some updates to the old Planet 51 rewards that you'll find in the Arm reward shop once you win. There's also some new stuff too that I came up with just for this. Some of the rewards are hints about something I'm cooking up personally and something in particular gives a hint at where the storyline is going next. You might have to talk to someone once you win to find out what that is though.
I hope you enjoy it and I'm very thankful to Mae for letting me go all crazy and do this. Make sure to let me know on the forums what you think of the fights and the rewards!

Greetings! Something I've wanted to do for a while now was get back to doing the monthly SC release. I'm going to be doing something each month now, maybe not a mech each time but something to thank you guys for your support. This month Blues and I wanted to do something really special to kick it off, so we decided on doing the very first SCEM, the Strider. We didn't want to just copy the old one with nothing changed so Blues re-statted it as an offensive mech with a LOT of firepower.
Strider-P FA/BA - CD= 1
Each use buffs damage by 25%, either arm. Caps at 200%
Applies a 1.5x HP and EP DoT, either arm. Every additional use of either arm buffs the DoTs by .5x. Caps at 4x.
FS/BS - CD=3
Hit 1: 25% damage
Hit 2: 35% damage - Damages enemy EP with hit's damage.
Hit 3: 45% damage
Hit 4: 55% damage - 15% chance to heal 50% of hit's damage.
Hd - CD=5
Self Boost BoT, +10, per turn, for 4 turns.
+25 BtH for 4 turns.
Enemy Boost NoT, -7, per turn, for 5 turns.
Bd - CD=4
Hit 1: 20% damage, (if hit hits) Nerf enemy immo res by -30.
Hit 2: 25% damage, (if hit hits) + 25 BtH for 4 turns.
Hit 3: 30% damage, (if hit hits) Nerf enemy immo res by addition -60.
Hit 4: 40% damage, (if hit hits) Disables head when equippable.
Hit 5: 60% damage, (if hit hits) Attempts to stun.
You can pick it up now in the shop with the other perm versions of the SCEM's. (They are in the Star Captain Club on the second floor.) Also last week we had the Memorial Day shop. I didn't get the stats to Mae in time for a DN so here they are now!.

Nerfs immores (immobility resistance) by -50(-55/-60) and attempts a stun.
Rolls for a chance to do a 2 turn energy regen halt. BA - 3 turn CD
If at least one of the hits connects.
3 turn 1.5 (2/2.5)x HP DoT
3 turn enemy damage nerf of -30(-35/-40)
FS/BS - 2 turn CD
Damage increase per use, stacks using either shoulder.
+10% damage up to cap of +50% extra damage.
Stacking enemy Bonus nerf. -8(-9/-10) per use, either shoulder, up to a cap of -50 Bonus.
HD - 3 turn CD
Stacking Boost buff. +8(+10/+12) per use up to a +40 cap.
BD - 5 turn CD
4 turn defense buff of 40(45/50)
Rolls, heals a small amount. (Between .011 and .11 of max health. Max of 76 at level 50)

Memorial Day Mecha Models: For this year's Memorial Day, Ash has developed a mecha that has three different color schemes. The Tactical Land Assault, Naval Assault, and Aerial Assault models share the same specials. You can find them in the shop on Soluna City's Main Street.

Gianna Glow had a birthday this week! Plasma Charge put together a magical energy blade for the occasion. Wear the Ninja outfit to unlock the magic attack. There's also a special "blooper" version for Star Captains called GG's Little Ankle Biter. The original positioning of the magic attack was a bit off and it made me laugh; Ash made an extra one so we could share the laughter. Happy birthday, Gigi!
Ash has re-colored and reworked a mecha with new specials for Memorial Day. There will be multiple color schemes and all models will have the same specials. Greetings! This week Maegwyn was on vacation and left Vivi and I in charge. I was able to get to the T.V. remote, recliner, lemonade, and garage door opener first, so Vivi had to watch what I wanted to! Muahaha! I also totally didn't break anything huge while she was gone. Make sure to stay away from the Beta Quadrant when you're out exploring space though...I *might* have broken part of reality over there. No worries though, it'll be alright since I put a giant sticker over the hole. Just don't tell her.
Anyway! I worked on a few more small bugs that were reported. I got them taken care of and will keep working on some of the larger and more stubborn ones. Make sure to keep reporting any bugs that you find.
As a reminder, PLEASE put your Character ID AND your Character Name in the "Username" field of the bug report. That helps me to be able to check things about your character. Putting only your character name is helpful if it's the only one of that name. Since there are lots of names that aren't unique, having the Character ID lets me check and see what the issue is with that specific character.
Also, please give as much information as you can. Putting, "THIS MECH DOESN'T WORK!!!" tells me the mech doesn't work, but not much else. What about the mech is broken? Did you try it in a different quest? Are you using all the default weapons or are you using some other equips? This isn't only for Mech bugs either. Any bugs that you find, put every bit of info you can in the description so we know what to test and possibly what else might be causing the bug if it's not the mech. It might be the quest or it might be one equip you didn't think was an issue. If it takes a paragraph to really explain it, I have lots of time to read, so feel free to write it all out.
Now for this weeks item. Everyone likes cookies right? Who wouldn't? There are all kinds and some are even extra-dimensional in origin. Well, I decided to use one of those extra-dimensional cookies, found by Plasma Charge, to make a weapon. They are REALLY random, but if you're lucky enough you'll get a nice buff and inflict a nice nerf on the enemy. (Yes this is a fun release and shouldn't be used to confirm the evidence of a "Cookieverse". I need to have fun occasionally too.)

Greetings! This week I worked on getting a bunch of the bugs that were around, and that you all reported recently, fixed. There were a bunch, and I can't mention all of them, but to sum up everything. - A bunch of typos. - Item bugs. - Mech bugs - Travel Map bug - Romero quest bug
I also have a hunt tonight for you all for a new type of mod. These still boost stats but they boost a different set then you all usually see. I'm working on seeing about putting extra effects on new mods for some true passive effects but for now I wanted to put these out. What better way to do that then a hunt through the game! I'm hiding the mods in a shop and the following is your clue.
